Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
• Minimum 3 year of experience in Claims environment preferred. (Health, Auto, Disability, among other industries.)
• Good oral and written communication skills (English/Spanish)
• Experience using PC, database system, and related software (word processing, spreadsheets, etc.) strongly preferred.
• Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities:

• Review and process claims for accuracy and completeness.
• Verify insurance coverage and eligibility.
• Analyze evidence and documentation to determine claim validity.
• Apply appropriate coding and billing guidelines to ensure accurate claim submission.
• Investigate and resolve claim discrepancies or issues.
• Collaborate with providers, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information.
• Maintain organized records of claims, payments, and related documentation.
