Job Description :

We are seeking a Database Administrator!

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field required.
  • The following Microsoft certifications related to SQL Server are preferred but not required: Querying Data with Transact-SQL, administering a SQL Database Infrastructure, Provisioning SQL Databases, implementing a Data Warehouse Using SQL, Developing SQL Data Models.
  • MCSA, MCSE, or other professional certifications, preferred.
  • The position requires three (3) years of related experience. 
  • 3+ years of experience in BI Developing, Data Analysis, Datawarehouse Developing or related field.
  • Experience with Microsoft database or Oracle environment development.
  • Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

Essential Functions:

  • Administer, test, and implement computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems.
  • Identifies database requirements by interviewing customers; analyzing department applications, programming, and operations; evaluating existing systems and designing proposed systems.
  • Recommends solutions by defining database physical structure and functional capabilities, database security, data back-up, and recovery specifications.
  • Installs revised or new systems by proposing specifications and flowcharts; recommending optimum access techniques; coordinating installation requirements.
  • Maintains database performance by calculating optimum values for database parameters; implementing new releases; completing maintenance requirements; evaluating computer operating systems and hardware products. 
  • Creates and updates existing simple to complex stored procedures.
  • Optimizes SQL queries, create/maintain database index.
  • Supports database functions by designing and coding utilities.
  • Architects new and re-architect existing database solution.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Creation of SSIS package.
  • Executes any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.
