Description and Purpose of tasks:
IT Analyst responsibilities include prioritizing user requirements, overseeing system upgrades and
researching new tools. Serve as the primary user of the selected help desk system: Manage
Engine’s Service Desk Plus. Manages the Service Desk, assisting users in the correct usage of the
ITSM Tool and ensuring updated contracts on the ITSM. Provide support (analysis and
consultation) for technical issues related to the organization's technological platforms. This
includes diagnosing issues, testing solutions, identifying best practice deficiencies, and consulting
with clients on workarounds and best practices, covering Microsoft Office, Exchange, access
control, software deployment, workstations, communication devices, and more.
Functions:
Service Desk incident management and documentation. Control IT assets. Maintain IT equipment
inventory, including datacenter tool inventory. User support and management. Identify business
requirements and translate them into IT recommendations. Assist project teams with technical
issues in the initiation and planning phases of a project. Maintain up-to-date expertise in the
operation and application of standard computer software.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year College or university in computer sciences, MIS, or
other related field; or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or
equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Computer skills required: Configure and deployment of Information Technology
resources. Includes, but is not limited to desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, etc.
• Superior organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills required.
• Ability to work well both independently and with others.
